Privacy Policy

Thinking Minds respects your privacy. We collect only data needed to provide our services, improve user experience, and keep our apps secure.

We do not sell personal information. Any personal data you share is used for account operations, support, service delivery, billing, and communication related to Thinking Minds products.

By using our web app and mobile apps, you agree that we may process technical data such as device information, app version, crash logs, and usage analytics for reliability, fraud prevention, and security monitoring.

Data We Collect

Depending on the service, we may collect: name, email, phone number, business details, authentication data, support messages, and basic technical/device metadata.

If payments or subscriptions are used, billing and transaction details may be processed by trusted payment providers. We do not store full card details on our systems.

We may also collect diagnostics such as crash reports and performance metrics to fix issues and improve app quality.

Permissions and Device Access (Google Play)

Camera Access: The app uses camera access only when the user opens barcode/product scanning or related capture workflows. Camera is not used in the background and no camera data is collected without user action.

File Access: The app accesses files only when the user explicitly chooses import, export, or backup actions through the system file picker.

Storage Scope: We avoid broad storage access where possible and use user-initiated file selection flows instead of scanning unrelated personal media.

In-app Permission Notice: Before requesting camera or file access, the app displays a short explanation so users understand why permission is needed.

How Data Is Shared

We share data only when required to run services, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, payment processors, and security tools under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect users, our platform, and the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

We do not share personal data for unrelated advertising purposes.

Retention, Security, and Deletion

We retain data only as long as needed for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security operations.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, including access control, monitoring, and secure infrastructure practices.

Users may request account/data deletion by contacting us. We will process deletion requests according to legal and operational requirements.

Children and Sensitive Data

Our services are not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without proper legal consent.

Web App Terms & Conditions

You must use the web app lawfully and must not attempt unauthorized access, abuse, disruption, reverse engineering, or any activity that harms users or our infrastructure.

All software, content, branding, and platform features remain the intellectual property of Thinking Minds unless clearly stated otherwise.

Access to some features may require registration, approval, subscription, or custom business agreements. Service availability and features may change as we improve the platform.

Thinking Minds may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security violations, fraud, or activities that breach these terms.
